Have you ever been on holiday and felt like your tied to your laptop and just wished you’ve gotten organized earlier?

Well, here’s a video for you cause I’m going to give you 5 quick tips on how you can implement now so that you don’t have to be tied to your laptop over the holiday. So yes, I have had many January holidays and Christmas holidays where I’ve felt like I was tied to the laptop, and launching and you know as much as I think its a great time to launch, it’s exhausting.

So this year I’m challenging myself not to that and I’m just being more organised. So I wanna give you 5 quick tips on how you can implement some strategies now so that you’re not tied to the laptop over the holidays and you can actually feel refreshed when you come back.

I help solo entrepreneurs grow their business by systemizing their business and scaling, and there are some really simple strategies that I think you could implement now and be ready for December and January.

5 Quick tips you can implement now

#1 Write a great blog

So the first one is Blogging. So if you could write ONE blog that you could then pull out a months worth of social media content, Facebook live content, YouTube content. How awesome would that be? #repurposing

Right? Do it!

Like actually do it. Give us a juicy blog topic and fill out and write that blog. Then you can pull out all the other content from it without having to create something new everyday, every week. Use the blog content, its okay.

It’s reinforcing your message. So from one blog, challenge yourself to see if you can make content for the rest of the month.

#2 Canva Templates

A second strategy is to create some Canva templates. Create one that is a holiday focused template, one that is a selfie template, one that is maybe a tip template. That’s a really good start for giving you some basic templates all done so that if you have those tips you can go in and duplicate them and create content really quickly.

#3 Brainstorm Social Media Content

Looking at the third strategy is to brainstorm some social media content. Some quick tips over the holidays. Chances are your audience’s brains aren’t really at top speed, or want to learn so much, so just some really handy tips, hacks and use your tip canva template.

If you could think of six of them you have six weeks worth of handy tips that people will love. If you brainstorm six, you could do it in three to five minutes. Six holiday posts that you could do and then put them to your holiday template really quickly, and then six selfie questions. So write six questions, you could write six social questions like “What are you up to this holidays? Are you going to the beach today?” or six questions about what you do and what your business. Use your canva templates, and its SO much quicker!

As you are focusing just on one topic or type of post when you brainstorming, its a much quicker process. Give yourself twenty minutes. That’s a really great way of batching your content really quickly.

#4 Plan you FB Lives

My fourth strategy is to plan some Facebook live videos.

Write out your intro, write out the topic, write out the three points that you are going to mention. Once that you have that plan it makes it so much easier to implement and get in and do it.

I’ve noticed not just me but other people too, (yes I do it as well), if I know what I’m going talk about then I can get in and do it, but if I have to sit down, think about what I’m going to talk about, there’s so many other things that could get it the way and I can easily get distracted.

When I make that decision earlier I can go it and do it. So if know that on Thursday in two weeks time I’m going to do a Facebook live and everything is worked out, it’s much easier to show up.

#5 Let your tribe know you’re on holidays

Sent out a newsletter to your tribe to say :I’m going on holidays, so this is what you might expect from me…”

Yes, I have a blog, I’ve been doing some Facebook lives but I may not be as visible doesn’t mean that I’m not thinking but I’m going on holiday.

People appreciate that because they don’t expect you to be visible 24/7, all the months of the year.

It’s okay to go on holiday. It’s okay.

If you have a content plan, awesome. if you don’t, that’s okay too. Just tell everyone what you’re doing, so they know what to expect.

#6 BONUS TIP: Add a note to your email signature

Here’s bonus tip number six. Add a note of the bottom of your emails for the next two months letting people know that you’re on holiday from here and here, So you might not be responding to your emails within 24 hours.

If you explain, they will understand! So little tweaks like that can really help you buy some time and not be tied up to the laptop over your holidays.

Six quick tips that you can implement now that will help you recharge and reset.

Be organized for your holidays, so that you can enjoy them with your family.

Your Next Steps

Pick one of these quick tips and get started! I’d go for #1, because that has a lot of other content you can then repurpose!
