8 Tips to Avoid Burnout

8 Tips to Avoid Burnout

“Why is that the things we love to do the most are always the first to go when life gets busy?”
They help us avoid burnout, not contribute to it.

This week, I’m on a mission to prevent more hard working, determined and passionate women avoid burnout.

Walking on the beach, sitting outside with a cup of tea, meditating, going out with friends – these are the things we love to do and recharge our cups, but they’re squeezed out of the schedule the most.

It’s these that give us energy, inspiration, clarity.

Working too hard is counterproductive and unsustainable.

It only leaves you feeling more exhausted, and it takes longer to recover each time.

In my video, I’m sharing what feeling overwhelmed looks like, and my top 8 tips to avoid burnout.

There’s a lovely summary Downloadable you can access at the end, too

8 Tips to avoid burnout

It really only takes one or two to make a difference in your life. Which one can you start with today?

My Inspiration to Take Action

My Inspiration to Take Action

And How I found my Video Mojo Again!

Today’s Episode of Balance and Business for Online Mums is my little story about what inspired me to take action.

I’m really talking about ‘inspired’ action, because it had a different kind of energy about it.

It was one of those moments that just made me go ‘YES’, and it gave me instant clarity!
You see, I haven’t done a video for a while, mainly because I’ve been busy doing some coaching, and working on my coaching products, and because of that, I felt like I had lost the momentum on my ‘video-mojo’!

I hadn’t really even planned a video, but I just felt that pressure to do one.  I felt blocked about the content, so the creative juices really weren’t flowing! Anyway, last Sunday, I went for a wander around my garden and picked some winter flowers.

Watch Episode #15 to see what happened next and the power of the energy behind it.

If you don’t want to watch the video, I’ll show you what inspired me and made me take action:

It was FLOWER POWER!

TAKE ACTION

Seems simple – but the inspiration I felt from having flowers in the house instantly made me feel like I could do anything!  It took away all of the fear, the things I’d been avoiding – and I immediately felt like they didn’t matter.  Really Powerful!

I knows the trigger – the power of flowers for me is a powerful one, so if I want to be inspired – flowers are my thing.  The joy of having them made me feel like I had my ‘Video Mojo’ back – nothing else had changed!  So here I am – making video’s again!  I’ll take that!

An Old Habit Challenged by Going Paperless

An Old Habit Challenged by Going Paperless

When you think comfort zone, you might think some of the normal things, like networking, launching, asking people for sales, making videos….but there are deeper levels of comfort zones that we probably aren’t even aware of.

Today, I talk about pushing out of my comfort zone in the way I used to write lists and try to stay organised.  I knew it wasn’t really being efficient, but it was the way I’d done things for ever, but when things used to get super crazy, my system didn’t work for me.

So this week’s Balance & Business for Online Mums is about me taking responsibility, and focusing on changing an old habit that was holding me back from going to the next level in my sense of balance and organisation.

I challenged myself to go paperless, and it made a huge difference in my life – and I love it.

Watch Episode 11 here:

I’m also giving you a Daily Planner template to help you take responsibility and gain more freedom and time – simply by being more productive!

As I said mentioned in my video, the Freedom Framework was the result of forcing myself to go paperless.

It really is an amazing tool, and so many people leave their Evernote potential untapped, or not knowing why or how to use it to its maximum – and they don’t have time to set it up either.

That’s why I do it for you.  Check out how the Freedom Framework can help you with my free video series, and you’ll see the extent that the Freedom Framework can make life easier.

Or go straight to the Freedom Framework
