One of the few areas that we ALL struggle with is our own inner voice. It can make us strong, give us that determination, help us feel empowered and authentic.
It’s what we feel closest to within our being – it’s what we use to help identify as a person, to live our lives and make decisions.
But it can let us down, hold us back, be cruel and deceitful.
Sadly, this less helpful version is usually the strongest and most dominant within us.

This is why I created Number 1 Mums. So often, it’s the inner voice that makes us doubt ourselves, underpins all fo the hard work we do to feel like we are good mums, good at our work and successful at balancing everything. I want to give mums the skills and strategies to build a new voice, new thoughts.
A positive happy life, without the doubt and guilt, is one of the most important gifts you can give to your children.
Taking care of yourself, without putting your children last is key. It’s that negative voice that’s telling you to feel guilty. Taking care of yourself is actually beneficial to your family.
