I used to take the structure of my day for granted until I realised that there were some pretty bad habits that would often sabotage me before I even sat down to work – like checking emails and getting distracted too early, and not really having a plan, so I’d flit from one thing to another and not really be very strategic about my time.
Once I learned how to schedule my day for better work life balance, I found that I had more energy and could survive the mid afternoon slump, and could actually tick more things off of my to do list early on – so I had great momentum early on in the day.
In my latest video, I talk about how to set up your day, and then structure your work blocks and time so that you can sustain your motivation throughout the day. It just takes a few tweaks and adjustments, because you’re probably on top of your schedule – and I have to say that the biggest change for me was before I even started work!
If you’re feeling burnt out by the end of the day, losing momentum, getting distracted easily or just not being as productive as you know you can be, then check it out.
