What’s your favourite kind of PROCRASTINATION ?
Facebook? TV? Cleaning?
On my Facebook page this week, I talked a little about procrastination, and how often the things that we procrastinate about are actually things that would be helpful to us if we just did it.
I just did a quick scan of Pinterest, and these quotes come up:
Never do tomorrow what you can do today. Procrastination is the thief of time
Quit making excuses. Just do it!
Oh, if only it were that easy!
It’s not, though, otherwise it wouldn’t be a problem!
One thing I DO KNOW that helps with procrastination is awareness. If you are actually aware that you are procrastinating, you are more likely to reduce it, or get things done after a point. If you are totally unaware that some behaviours (like Facebook or games) are for avoidance, then they are more likely to continue.
